Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). Profile data: the roles, skills, experience level and location preferences you enter for matching. Payment data: the M-PESA phone number you top up from, amounts, and transaction references. We never see or store your M-PESA PIN. Usage data: which jobs we showed you and which you marked applied.
To match jobs to your profile, operate your wallet, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets), and keep the service safe. We do not sell your data, show you advertising, or share your profile with employers or recruiters.
Data is stored on our servers and retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by writing to support@jobzetu.com; we delete within 30 days, except payment records we must retain for tax and audit purposes.
Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact support@jobzetu.com to exercise any of these rights.
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference. No tracking or advertising cookies.
